Built in the 1850s, Forest Breaks cottage sits on the outskirts of the charming old mining town of Cinderford. This traditional cottage offers a tranquil setting for your stay. The cottage is conveniently located within walking distance of shops and local public houses.

Close by you’ll be able enjoy the woodland walks and cycle tracks through the beautiful Forest of Dean, which surrounds the town.

You can visit the Dean Forest Railway, Dean Heritage and Clearwell Caves. Further afield, you can explore Caldicot's magnificent medieval castle set in fifty-five acres of beautiful parkland.

The historic market towns of Ross-on-Wye, Chepstow and Gloucester offer excellent shopping, including traditional weekly markets.

Accommodation

This self-catering cottage has a traditional feel with exposed beams throughout the property. Downstairs, there is a kitchen/diner and a comfortable sitting room. The kitchen is modern and well-equipped with a cooker and hob, fridge freezer and microwave – providing you with everything that you will need on your self-catering cottage.

Upstairs, there is one double bedroom and one twin room. The bathroom has a bath with a shower.

A futon bed is available in the sitting room for larger groups, and a travel cot is available at an extra cost.

At the end of the day, you can enjoy the sunshine on the decked area which has garden furniture. There is also a shed for storing bicycles.

Electricity is included in the price. Pillows and duvets are provided. Bed linen and towels not supplied.

Change over day is variable, check in after 2pm and check out by 10.30am. Weekend and short breaks.
