Printer's Cottage
Printer's Cottage is a mid-18th Century limestone-built holiday cottage in the picturesque Peak District village of Tideswell. Situated just four miles south of the Hope Valley, between the market towns of Buxton and Bakewell, the village is unspoilt by gift shops or tourist hoards, and is set amongst some of England's most spectacular scenery at the heart of the White Peak.

Britain's first National Park consists of 555 miles of beautiful countryside, from high wind-blown moorland in the north to green farmland and tranquil dales in the south. Whether you're after tranquil, breathtaking scenery or fun-filled adrenalin fuelled outdoor pursuits - this superb self-catering cottage is superbly located for climbing, cycling, walking and caving in abundance. Scale the High Tor, the limestone crag that gives spectacular views to the towns below or visit Black Rocks Country Park, a popular pace for rock climbing, walking or orienteering. Explore the netherworld by potholing at Eldon Hole or enjoy trout fishing at dramatic Dovedale where the river is flanked by steep cliffs, caves and rock pillars at every turn.

For spectacular sights of a man-made variety, stately homes and great houses such as the magnificent Chatsworth House with gardens by Capability Brown, are well worth a visit. There are many market towns and villages in the area - Bakewell with its thriving livestock market, and the beautiful spa town of Buxton, perched 300m above sea level, are both within a 10 mile radius of Printer's Cottage.

This spacious and stylish Derbyshire cottage in its lovely rural village location is a wonderful place to stay for adults and children alike. Whether you soak up the charm and atmosphere of the busy market towns, historic properties and World Heritage sites, or live for the pulse-raising rush of an outdoor pursuits holiday, Printer's Cottage is at the heart of it all.
