Trout Cottage is a riverside boutique holiday cottage just a five minute stroll from the vibrant town of Dulverton at the gateway to Exmoor. Here you are surrounded by stunning scenery and rich heritage with beautiful walks, a plethora of activities nearby and beaches just a short drive beyond .

.. or simply relax and let the view come to you from the comfort of the cottage or sit in the private riverside garden and listen to the music of the water. There's a bakery a few doors away, a supermarket open 6am to 11pm, along with award winning restaurants and bars all within walking distance.

This is an all year round dog-welcoming holiday cottage that offers something for everyone whatever the weathe

Accommodation:

The three bedroom accommodation is spacious and open plan, stylish and well equipped. With quality furnishing and exacting housekeeping standards, Trout Cottage is like a luxury boutique hotel but with the benefit of self-catering in a home from home.The master bedroom has an en-suite wet room and there are uninterrupted views from every window.

The versatile layout of the cottage has a twin or king size option in the third double room and a separate dining room which is also a games room with a pool table and ping pong. There's a kayak for experienced users and the cottage has fishing rights. The kitchen is open plan and well stocked and we start you off with bread and milk, as well as logs for the fire. There's a lock safe for flexible check in and easy free parking. Our all white bed-linen and towels are professionally laundered and the cottage is spotlessly clean. We have tried to think of everything to makes this an ideal holiday let for couples, families, singles and friends.... as well as being heaven for dogs!

Directions

M5 exit J27 onto A361 towards Tiverton; continue 6.5 miles at the roundabout take the 3rd exit to Dulverton / A396;
stay on A396 and continue 5 miles at the roundabout take the 1st exit and stay on A396 following the river Exe for 5 miles look out for a right turn to Dulverton (still A396) as the road bends immediately take the lower road to Minehead and Dulverton continue along the A396 for about 3 miles turn left at the white Toll House to Dulverton B3222 stay on B3222 for another 3 miles to Dulverton cross the bridge and follow the road through the town after the broad street of shops at the post office, follow the road as it turns sharply to the left and becomes very narrow keep following the road until it starts to widen again and you see parked cars on the left park up just before the first garage on the left - you have reached Trout Cottage!

There are lots of other eateries and Dulverton has a great variety of lovely independent shops.
