Livery stable: no access to guests. A magnificent, grand house in the grounds of the ruins of a 14th Century Castle. Surrounded by verdant Suffolk countryside and the ample grounds have plenty of outdoor space for big groups, including dogs and children.
Ideal for family celebrations and country escapes, with lots of internal space to spread out, with views of fields, horses and generally bucolic landscapes. An annexed games room with darts and pool provides plenty of fun for playful guests, and is neatly aside from the main building for noise control.
The proximity to the castle is a real highlight, with stunning views from the house across its ruins. The walls in the garden, viewed from the terrace, provides a wonderful backdrop for family photos.
The house has a countrified, period charm to its layout and designs. Downstairs, there’s a conservatory with views all around, a large-windowed dining area with extra table as required, a large living room with comfy seating for everyone and large Smart TV, and there are two kitchens for easy-peasy preparation of food for everyone. There are seven bedrooms upstairs and two downstairs, with five ensuites plus extra shared bathrooms and WCs.
All in all, this is a superb option for your escape to the countryside of Suffolk and Norfolk. Easily accessible from London or Norwich, get your country charm here and pretend to be a lord or lady.
