Skippings is a delightful terraced cottage, set in the heart of Beccles on the Norfolk and Suffolk border in the Broads National Park. The River Waveney runs through its heart and the town offers a super range of independent and chain shops, restaurants and cafés. The weekly market is excellent for all things local should you wish to kick back and enjoy a night of cooking in Skippings.
With so many wonderful places around it may difficult to choose where to go! The Broads National Park is a big draw for people visiting this area. With kayaks, hire boats and canoes this is a water park like no other. Guided boat tours are also available so you can sit back and relax and take in this incredible national park. Beccles also boasts its own lido and outdoor heated swimming pool with people coming from afar to enjoy, right alongside the River Waveney. You are ideally placed to explore Norfolk and Suffolk, with Lowestoft, the most easterly point in the UK and Norwich, a bustling city with culture, heritage and entertainment for all. Beach 8½ miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 100 yards.
