This single storey holiday property, adjacent to the owners’ home, is located in the village of Strumpshaw and is midway between Norwich and Great Yarmouth. It is well-known as the home to the RSPB reserve at Strumpshaw Fen, here you may see harriers gliding over the reed beds and hear the booming of the bittern. The village is also home to Strumpshaw Hall Steam Museum, housing many fine examples of steam traction engines. The property is ideally located for exploring the Broads, with day launches which can be hired at nearby Acle. The beaches at Great Yarmouth are a short drive away, offering both traditional seaside entertainment and the quiet seclusion of the north beaches. Alternatively, spend a day in the city of Norwich, with its fine cathedral, museums, theatres and array of shops and cafes. Walking, cycling, fishing and bird watching are all available locally. Beach 12 miles. Shop 1½ miles, pub and restaurant 250 yards.
