This detached property has floor-to-ceiling windows that define one of the walls and open planned living spaces that are designed to let the light flood through the property. This is a great place to return to after a busy day sightseeing. Close by lie the market towns of Newmarket, with its famous races, and Bury St Edmunds with its National Trust priory and gardens. Making time to visit the university city of Cambridge is a must, where many walking and punting tours await, as well as museums (including The Fitzwilliam) and a variety of places where you can shop and eat. Norwich, with its magnificent Norman castle and numerous museums, and the Hanseatic quarter of old Kings Lynn make for further days out.

Closer still lies Ely with its cathedral, long described as the ‘Ship of the Fens’, and its stained glass museum. For a change of pace and some sea air, you can be in Hunstanton in just over an hour. Here you will find a small fun fair, a Sealife Centre, Norfolk Lavender and lots of traditional seaside shops and amusements, not to mention a beach which, when the tide is out, really does seem to go on forever.
