Extra Amenities

watch the tide times!
The island is extremely popular with those who enjoy the outdoors. Water sports are particularly popular with sailing, paddleboarding, kitesurfing and sea fishing. If you’re a "foody" there are plenty of restaurants and cafes and if you love seafood you’ve got to try the world-famous West Mersea oysters. If sandy beaches are more your thing, then Monkey Beach is possibly the island’s best, while the network of tiny creeks and boardwalks snaking through the marshes will fill a full day exploring. Beach 350 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.
