Ely Retreat Cottage
2 bedrooms, sleeps 4

This terraced maisonette provides all amenities on your doorstep, with plenty to see and do for everyone.

Just a few steps from Ely’s historic city centre, Ely Retreat offers the perfect base for a great stay. Park up and venture out on foot and you will find a picturesque city centre with a great mix of high street, boutique shops and enough pubs, cafés and restaurants for you to be able to eat somewhere different every day of your holiday. With its magnificent cathedral, aptly named the ’Ship of the Fens’, because of the way it majestically rises above the horizon, a stained glass museum and Oliver Cromwell’s house to explore, you will find much to keep you in the city itself. Travel a little further however and discover the university city of Cambridge, with its numerous guided walks, museums and attractions, The Imperial War Museum Duxford, Welney Wetlands and a host of other attractions. Ely has a mainline station, so you can even be in the heart of London in under an hour. After all of that, you can return to Ely Retreat to relax, unwind and have a good night’s sleep to get you ready for another great day out and about. Shop 100 yards, pub and restaurant 50 yards.
