Made to measure, these beautiful huts are designed for couples and small families wanting to get closer to nature. They enjoy an enchanted position in a unique countryside setting surrounded by wonderful Suffolk countryside, and are designed to offer comfort and warmth all year round with electric underfloor heating. Enter through the stable door to an open plan sitting area and kitchen, and to the rear are the sleeping quarters, with a raised double bed and two single beds partially underneath on either side. A modern fully plumbed shower room and toilet completes the accommodation.
Each hut has its own outdoor space with seating furniture, with a further large grassed area of 3 acres. Abundant with an assortment of wild flowers, this area is available for communal recreational use, a perfect space where children can play and meet new friends.
Alternatively you can simply enjoy a relaxing stroll around the farmland, enjoying the wild flowers and tranquillity of the countryside. Plentiful footpaths and circular walks can be found direct from the door, together with an ancient green space to enjoy. Within walking distance is the village pub, and more great pubs can be further enjoyed nearby.
The surrounding area is threaded with quiet country lanes and is a delight for walkers, cyclists and nature lovers. The smallholding is home to livestock which you can view from the huts. There is also a tractor and trailer rides for anyone wanting to enjoy. The small on-site shop (seasonal opening) is a great choice for basic food provisions and toiletries. There is also a hot drinks machine dispenser and plenty of ice creams to enjoy!
The relaxed pace of countryside life is complemented by a huge amount to see and do.
The charming town of Woodbridge is 15 miles away with fine restaurants, museums, a picturesque harbour and boat trips. Lovers of history will want to explore Sutton Hoo (National Trust) also 15 miles and Framlingham Castle, 5 miles. Birdwatchers and walking enthusiasts can head to RSPB Minsmere and Dunwich Forest and Heath, 18 miles. Snape Maltings, with its concert hall and shopping village is 15 miles and well worth a visit, and the sophisticated little seaside town of Aldeburgh, 19 miles, has fish and chips that are a must. At elegant Southwold, 22 miles, the summer theatre is ever popular. Thorpeness, 20 miles, is the setting for the famous ‘House in the Clouds’ folly and also offers a boating mere. Golf and fishing are found close by. Beach 19 miles. Shop and pub serving food, 1 mile.
