Here you will find a range of coastal habitats including wide, sandy beaches, salt marshes and quays. Try a spot of crabbing at Blakeney or head to Wells-next-the-Sea and take its narrow gauge railway down to the beach or just peruse the great mix of boutiques, shops or traditional seaside cafés and restaurants.
For all the fun of the fair, head to Hunstanton and visit the Sealife Centre or take a summer trip out to see the seals. Wildlife lovers can visit RSPB Titchwell Marsh and Snettisham or head to Cley or Pensthorpe Nature Reserve. And, if you like you can be in the heart of the Norfolk Broads in under 50 minutes too.
Also close by are the Thursford and Muckleburgh Collections, Fakenham Races, the pretty Georgian market town of Holt, Sheringham Park and North Norfolk Railways and all of this, along with lots of stately homes and National Trust properties is what makes this part of Norfolk so popular. After all that activity, you get to return to lovely Flint Cottage, raise a glass of something chilled, either by the fire or in the pretty courtyard garden. Beach 9 miles.
