The property is just a 5-minute walk form the Snettisham Beach Sailing Club and clubhouse; you can book courses and learn to sail on the sea or on the large lake adjacent to the clubhouse, with a dedicated RYA recognised training centre.
The property is located only a short distance from Norfolk’s only west facing beach, which leads to the most spectacular sunsets.
Snettisham beach is a natural haven for birds and wildlife and remains largely unspoiled. The nearby RSPB reserve is frequented by various wading birds including avocet, pink-footed geese, and bar-tailed godwit. The observation hides give stunning panoramic views across the salt marsh and mudflats making The Beach House an ideal base for bird watchers. There are fishing lakes just a short distance from the property and weekly passes are available locally. The nearby boating lakes are perfect for experts and novices alike.

Snettisham Park Farm, 4 miles away, is a working farm offering fun family activities such as pony rides, feeding the animals, collecting fresh farm eggs and the popular deer safari. The Norfolk Lavender fields at Heacham, 5 miles away, are an amazing sight (and fragrance) in the summer months, the medieval market town of King’s Lynn, 13 miles away, has an iconic 17th century custom house and lots of shops and eateries.
