Set on the edge of Dedham Vale and Constable Country, within easy reach of Bury St. Edmunds, the medieval town of Lavenham, Ipswich and Colchester. A village pub can be found less than a mile away. The market town of Hadleigh is only 2½ miles. It was an old cloth-making town until the 17th century and now has a vibrant high street with mostly independent shops, such as a sweet shop, lovely boutiques, cafés, two butchers and a eco store, plus many pubs and restaurants to enjoy. There is golf close by at Brett Vale in Raydon and the Stoke by Nayland Golf and Spa, and Alton Water is nearby, where you can enjoy 400 acres of walking, cycling or a range of water sports. As seen on TV, Jimmy’s Farm is within easy reach, as are Flatford and Kersey Mills. Shops and restaurants 2 miles, pubs ½ mile.
