Visitors to the town can enjoy The Mart, an annual fair which visits for two weeks each February, and Festival Too, a free music festival held yearly in June and July. There are plenty of places to eat and drink in the town along with many shops and supermarkets for all your day-to-day needs. Other attractions include True’s Yard Fisherfolk Museum, which offers a look back at the town’s rich and fascinating maritime heritage, and the iconic 17th-century Custom House, which overlooks the site of the town’s medieval harbour. Beach lovers can be at the stunning Norfolk coast in less than half an hour.
Why not take a drive around the North Norfolk coastal road, and discover a string of pretty villages, marshes and beaches. There are artisan shops and lots of fantastic places to eat, many of them specialising in fresh, local produce.
