The detached property offers contemporary appliances whilst retaining some period charm, and provides everyday home comforts. The property boasts two living areas: a formal living room with a wood burner and Freeview TV, as well as the snug with a second Freeview TV, and provides a peaceful retreat to relax and read, and offers a different choice of TV viewing. The spacious kitchen/dining room is great for entertaining and has a door leading onto the enclosed courtyard - a perfect sun trap!
Freshwater fishing is available at Foxearth, 1¼ miles (license required).

The house stands opposite the village library and a recreational playing field with a children’s play area, ideal for kids to run and play. All within a short walk, but located just outside the centre of Glemsford, the village has a fish and chip shop, two local shops, a popular Chinese restaurant and two pubs. Completely surrounded by wonderful countryside, this wonderful property offers a peaceful retreat.
A short drive away are the more popular tourist hot spots, historical market towns and the villages of Long Melford, 4 miles, Sudbury, 6½ miles, Clare, 5 miles, and Lavenham, 8 miles, rich in historic buildings, cafés, a bistro, fine dining restaurants, shops, boutiques and art galleries.

Stop off at nearby Cavendish to see why it’s been voted ’Suffolk’s best kept village’. Excellent shopping is available at Bury St Edmunds, 13 miles, and Ipswich, 27 miles, complete with its marina and waterside restaurants. A number of great walks and excellent cycle routes are available from the doorstep. Just an hour’s drive away is the amazing Heritage Coastline, with its excellent beaches and coastal villages; Walton-on-the-Naze, 38 miles, Felixstowe, 39 miles. An hour and half drive away is the famous coastal resorts of Southwold and Aldeburgh, as well as the South Coast Heaths, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.
