A traditional, Norfolk flint fisherman’s cottage dating back to the 1800’s, Mount Tabor is a sweet little property that offers a truly warm welcome from the moment that you arrive. Traditionally furnished with a very cosy feel, it is the perfect seaside base to explore all that the North Norfolk coast has to offer. Stiffkey itself is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and you will soon see why this picturesque village is so sought after. It offers access across salt marshes to the sea and is famous for its Stiffkey Blues, which are plump, tasty cockles.

Just along the coast lies Wells-next-the-Sea, with its narrow gauge railway, wide sandy beach, pretty painted beach huts and picturesque quay.

Here you will also find a good mix of traditional seaside and artisan shops, cafés and restaurants. Head further west along the coastline and find a string of pretty coastal villages offering an array of beach habitats including salt marshes, quays and a mix of sand and shingle beaches.

Keep driving until you reach the bustling town of Hunstanton, named sunny Hunny by the locals, and enjoy lots of seaside attractions. Head east and go crabbing at Blakeney or visit the North Norfolk Railway and Sheringham Park.

Make time to visit Cromer too, with its famous pier, and walk along the imposing Edwardian promenade. Also close by lies the Walsingham Shrine of Our Lady, Pensthorpe Nature Reserve, RSPB Cley and Titchwell marshes, Amazonia Zoo, Fakenham Races and the Holkham, Blickling and Sandringham estates. Plus, you can also be in the heart of the beautiful Norfolk Broads within an hour too. Then return to cosy and comfortable Mount Tabor and dream of adventures yet to come. Just lovely! Beach ¾ miles.
