Each cottage boasts its own garden and patio plus a shared paddock which is ideal for children to play and dogs to be exercised. The surrounding area is threaded with quiet country lanes and is a delight for walkers, cyclists and nature lovers. The charming town of Woodbridge with fine restaurants, museums, picturesque harbour and boat trips, lies just 4 miles away and a wealth of attractions are within easy reach.

Lovers of history will want to explore Sutton Hoo (NT) and Framlingham Castle; birdwatchers and walking enthusiasts can head to RSPB Minsmere, and Dunwich Forest and Heath. Snape Maltings concert hall and shopping village is well worth a visit, and at the sophisticated little seaside town of Aldeburgh, fish and chips are a must. At elegant Southwold, the summer theatre is ever popular. Nearby Thorpeness is the setting for the famous ’House in the Clouds’ folly and also offers a boating mere.
