It has its own church, primary school, cricket ground and public house with restaurant. The nearby town of Painswick offers further shopping facilities and restaurants, and is famously referred to as ‘The Queen of The Cotswolds’. The cottage is ideally located for visitors wanting to explore the many delights of the Cotswolds.
Regency Cheltenham is 7 miles away and has plenty of boutique shopping, and hosts the celebrated Cheltenham Gold Cup Racecourse and renowned jazz and literary festivals. Cirencester, the ’Capital of the Cotswolds’, is 12 miles away and is a charming market town. It is conveniently located near many other Cotswold towns and villages, such as Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the-Water, Winchcombe, Stroud and Tetbury. Shop 3 miles, pub and restaurant 250 yards.
