For those who yearn to get away from it all, this comfortable cottage is ideal, set in the heart of Kielder Forest in the stunning Northumberland National Park. The area is perfect for star gazing in the national park, which has been awarded a Gold Tier international award for the largest Dark Sky Park in Europe. Located around 8 miles from Bellingham and 4 miles from Greenhaugh, this traditional, stone built cottage is attached to the owners home on a working, livestock farm.

The cottage is set in a rural and peaceful location, with a large front garden overlooking unspoilt countryside. It is an ideal base for couples or a small family to explore the Northumberland National Park, Kielder Forest and Observatory and the Northumberland Heritage Coast. Outdoor enthusiasts love this area and it is a firm favourite location for walkers and adventure seekers. Ideal for exploring the whole of this friendly and unspoilt county. Bellingham offers pubs, village shops, banks and a post office.

A day trip to Alnwick with its famous castle and the Northumberland Heritage Coast, peppered with castles and beaches, makes a fine day out. Hadrians Wall is steeped in history with Roman forts and museums along the way. Hexham and Rothbury are easily accessible with plenty of pubs and shops. Ideal for exploring the whole of this friendly and unspoilt county. Shop 8 miles, pub and restaurant 4 miles.
