Bedroom 2: With ¾ double bed, pull out single bed (for flexible sleeping arrangements) and Smart TV.
Bathroom: With bath, shower attachment, walk-in shower, double shower and toilet.
Second Floor:
Bedroom 3: With kingsize bed.

LPG central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial logs for wood burner included. Welcome pack. Cot, Highchair and stairgate. 1 small dog welcome. Private parking for 1 car; additional on road parking. No smoking. Please note: This property has a security deposit of £100.

Nestling in a quite spot in the village of Fir Tree in County Durham and perfectly located for a host of local attractions. Clio’s Cottage has been beautifully restored to a high standard throughout and is arranged over three floors, overlooking open countryside to the rear. Style and comfort blend effortlessly, the lounge with comfortable sofas to relax on, wi-fi and Smart Tv and an inviting multifuel stove to make yourself cosy on cooler evenings. The newly installed kitchen and dining area provide everything you will need to rustle up a hearty breakfast or evening supper and makes a cosy social space. To the front of the cottage is an enclosed garden set with furniture.
For those who prefer, the village Inn with its local produce and home cooked fayre is just a couple of yards away. Climb the stairs to the first floor, where you will find a variety of arrangements, sleeping a maximum of 6 people overall, bed 1 has bunk beds.

Bed 2 is a ¾ double with the option of a pull-out single sofa bed for flexible sleeping. There is a family bathroom on this floor with a walk-in double shower and decadent slipper bath. Up to the second floor and you can retreat to the master bedroom, with attractive vaulted ceilings, velux windows and welcoming king size bed. All bedrooms have smart TVs. With an abundance of walks and cycle routes nearby, there is much to do for the outdoor enthusiast. Out and about the rolling countryside offers a wealth of bridle ways, public footpaths and cycling routes.
Nearby Hamsterley Forest has a wide range of activities with walking trails, cycle routes and horse-riding trails, all levels of fitness and ability are catered for.

Being conveniently close to the A68 this is a perfect base to explore the North of England with easy access to both coast and country. The historic city of Durham, with its magnificent cathedral and river boat trips, the market town of Barnard Castle with its 12th-century castle, and medieval Raby Castle are all just a short drive away.
The open air Kynren Medieval spectacle takes place just 5. 5 miles away in Bishop Auckland and is hugely popular with visitors to the area. The award-winning Beamish Open-Air Museum is just 30 mins and is well worth a visit. Newcastle and Gateshead Metro with excellent shopping and are only 27 miles away. Visit the pretty Dales villages of Wolsingham, Frosterley and Stanhope with charming independent shops, tea rooms and riverside walks. With so much to do you will return time and time again!.
