Cutlers Hall Cottage offers the perfect family retreat, with its cosy electric wood burners and traditional stone build. Downstairs, the large and airy kitchen with its large patio doors and skylight is well-equipped with all modern appliances. A large dining table makes this a great social space. After a busy day of exploring the countryside, leave muddy boots and coats in the utility room, which houses a washer/dryer. The spacious main living room features a large L-shaped sofa, electric flame-effect fire and Freeview TV, the ideal spot to relax and watch a movie with the family. There are an additional two living areas, each with an electric wood burner and offering plenty of space for everyone to unwind in peace.
Upstairs are two spacious bedrooms, one with a kingsize feature bed and a second with twin beds. The family bathroom has a fabulous spa bath with an overhead shower. Step outside and enjoy the decked patio area with seating and a fire pit, a wonderful spot to enjoy on fair days or in the evenings.
Venture beyond the property where you will discover beautiful countryside with lots of country walks and cycle paths. Take a short drive and visit Derwent Reservoir or Beamish Museum, sure to make for an interesting day out.
Alternatively you are just 12 miles from the beautiful historic city of Durham with its castle and cathedral, and just 12 miles from the MetroCentre, which provides excellent shopping, cinema and restaurant facilities. Travel slightly further afield to Newcastle-upon-Tyne, famed for its vibrant nightlife and iconic bridges and buildings such as the Sage. For those who prefer to stay local, Consett is a friendly northern England town with plenty of its own amenities with restaurants, bars, cafés and takeaways. Beach 25 miles. Shop and restaurant ½ mile, pub 2 miles.
