Nestled in the picturesque coastal village of Craster, Shoreline Apartment is just yards from the stunning, rocky coastline.
Shoreline Apartment is situated in the highly sought after, traditional fishing village of Craster. With its own independent access, this stylishly, furnished apartment is all on first floor level and enjoys some views towards the sea. The open plan living space oozes charm with quirky features adding to its character such as exposed stonework, beams and an attractive port-hole window. A cosy wood burner ensures a warm welcome greets visitors to Shoreline Apartment regardless of the season. Both bedrooms are immaculately presented and enjoy the convenience of en-suite shower rooms, making Shoreline Apartment a suitable choice for families and friends alike.
Guests at the apartment are offered preferential rates within the café below the apartment, as well as discounted food in The Jolly Fisherman, only a gentle stroll away.
Craster is home to the renowned ‘Craster Kipper’, a smoked fish enjoyed by food lovers across the country. There is a small, pretty harbour close by with a view northbound along the rocky shore to the spectacular ruins of Dunstanburgh Castle.
The welcoming village of Embleton is only 3 miles north with its wide sweep of golden sandy beach which won the public poll of ‘Beach of the Year’ in the 2017 BBC Countryfile Magazine Awards. Beadnell Bay is a further 4 miles north and a popular destination for water-sports enthusiasts, including sailing, sea kayaking, wind surfing and scuba diving. The traditional fishing port of Seahouses is just 2 miles further up the coastline, where boat trips depart regularly from the harbour to the nearby Farne Islands, which are famous for its bird sanctuaries and seal colony.
The picture perfect village of Bamburgh, snuggled in the shadow of its majestic castle, is a further 3 miles north. Just 7 miles inland is the bustling market town of Alnwick, with its own dramatic castle (and film location for Harry Potter’s Hogwarts Academy). Visitors will enjoy a trip to Alnwick Garden – a spectacular interpretation of a formal garden including the Grand Cascade waterfall and restaurant within the largest tree house in Europe!
