Perfectly situated to enjoy some of the most spectacular parts of England and located on Hadrian’s Wall path makes it an ideal location as you set off to walk the wall.


Northumberland is England’s ’best kept secret’ with the National Park starting just a mile or so over the fields. The house is just a short walk from The Greenhead Roman Army Museum and Walltown Crags, the highest point on Hadrians Wall (1. 2 miles via The Pennine Way and 0.

9 miles via Greenwhelt Bank). All the other museums and sites within the National Park are within easy reach of the cottage including The Sill and Vindolanda. Bring your bike and explore the area then leave them in the bike coverage outside the property.
