This delightful semi-detached cottage enjoys a rural aspect, situated on a working farm near the friendly hamlet of Sharperton, nestled within the wild and beautiful Coquet Valley.

The picture windows in the sun/dining room enhance the views in this bright, spacious room and the cosy wood burner is perfect after a day exploring the countryside that surrounds Hazelnut Cottage. A charming sitting area to the front is a sun trap where you can relax and admire the views. Fly fishing for brown trout, sea trout and salmon for two rods can be arranged directly with the owner along a private stretch of the River Coquet. Ramblers and cyclists will enjoy discovering the many bridle ways and footpaths which surround the property. Ideally located to explore the National Park, Kielder Forest and Kielder Water set in the International Dark Sky Park.

The picturesque heritage coastline is an easy drive and Alnwick Castle is an easy and pretty drive for a day out. Cragside House and Gardens is only 6 miles in Rothbury. Hazelnut Cottage is perfectly located to maximize the coast and country for day trips offering a tranquil base after your days exploring. Beach 23 miles. Shop 6 miles, pub and restaurant 4 miles.
