Woodland View is a detached property just a 15-minute stroll from the centre of historic Hexham and its abundance of attractions and amenities, and is perfect for a family or group of friends. Comfortably furnished and well equipped, it has spacious living areas and an open plan living, dining and snug area. Bi-fold doors open onto the south facing garden, a glorious sun trap with scented flower beds and fruit bushes. The decked area is set with rattan table and chairs and a lovely spot to enjoy a morning cuppa or evening meal as the sun goes down.
Out and about, a short stroll brings you into the centre of Hexham. For those who prefer to ride the short distance, there is a bus stop nearby, the bus terminus will take you to Newcastle, Carlisle and surrounding areas.

Hexham Abbey sits proudly in the market place of the town, with an interactive exhibition and a visitor centre, as well as fabulous grounds and public spaces. Within a short walk there are a variety of restaurants and eateries, a theatre, cinema, golf course, leisure centre with pool and ten-pin bowling alley. For guests who enjoy a day at the races, Hexham Racecourse is within a short drive away and has a packed calendar all year round.
The pretty town of Corbridge, 5 miles, is within walking distance and has beautiful riverside walks, boutique shops and great places to eat and drink. Within 6 miles is the world famous Hadrian’s Wall which stretches 73 miles across the backbone of Northumberland through stunning countryside, natural woodland and meadows.

There are plenty of established public footpaths, cycle paths and bridleways to explore, as well as the famous Roman forts and settlements.
The Northumberland National Park and International Dark Skies Park are both close by and offer some of the most fabulous scenery and views, as well as unbeatable stargazing at night. Hexham is very well-positioned for exploring the bordering counties of Cumbria and County Durham, with Carlisle, the Lake District and the cathedral city of Durham all within an hour’s drive. Just 20 miles west of Newcastle, guests will find there are plenty of shopping opportunities, art galleries, museums, restaurants and bars
