Close to the stunning Heritage coastline, this comfortable holiday home is a great base for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts.

Set along a quiet road, this semi-detached, single-storey property is ideal for families or friends. It lies only 2½ miles from Cresswell and Druridge Bay, which are set along the stunning Heritage coastline, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. You can drive to Druridge Bay, which is just a few minutes away, visit the nature reserve and country park, and then enjoy one of the many coastal walks. Close by is the coastal cycle route, NCN Route 1, and the area is popular with walkers and cyclists.

A short drive of about 4 miles brings you to Newbiggin-by-the sea, where the only east coast offshore sculpture can be seen, together with a maritime centre, a sandy beach and a lifeboat house. Amble is only 8 miles away, and an easy drive takes you on to the Northumberland Heritage Coastal Route, which is peppered with castles and friendly villages.

Alnwick is easily reached and offers a fine selection of pubs, eateries and cobbled streets, as well as its famous castle. Also recommended is the Queen Elizabeth II Country Park at Ashington, 1¾ miles, which has a lake with swans as well as a restaurant, the Woodhorn Museum and coarse fishing. Beach 2½ miles. Shop, pub and restaurant ¾ mile
