Situated just a few miles from the A1, there is quick and easy access to all of Northumberland’s coast and castles. Similarly being just minutes from the A69 and ‘Military Road’ there are a myriad of Roman heritage sites within a short drive. Running through Ponteland village and up over the Scottish Border, (less than an hour’s drive away), the A696 offers a scenic drive over the moors for access to the vast wilderness that is the Northumberland National Park.
Set in the affluent area of Darras Hall, Alcedine offers spacious and thoughtfully furnished accommodation, perfect for all the family. The semi-detached property is set in a tree lined area with private drive and plenty of parking.

It’s just a short distance from the vibrant city of Newcastle and Gateshead’s Quayside (Tyne and Wear Metro park and ride is just ten minutes away), quite simply the best of all worlds. Newcastle International Airport is five minutes drive away and the Newcastle (North Shields) Ferry Port is just a half hour drive.
