Enjoying fabulous sea views from the second floor, this apartment has the wow factor and makes a perfect base for a seaside holiday for couples, families or a group of friends. A lift takes you up to this second floor apartment, enjoying uninterrupted sea views from each of its windows and the sweeping sandy bay across to St Mary’s Lighthouse. The open plan living space is stylish and spacious, with a huge picture window framing the view. A well equipped shaker style kitchen with granite worktops, breakfast bar and dining table make this a superb social space. The reclining sofas and chair face out to sea and if you can tear yourself away from the view, a large wall mounted Smart TV provides your entertainment. The apartment exudes space and light throughout, and offers two large bedrooms. Both enjoy sea views to wake up to in the morning, and have fully tiled en-suite shower rooms. They also each accommodate three guests. The spacious master bedroom has a kingsize bed and single, whilst the second bedroom has three single beds. There is a further family bathroom with a superb slipper-style bath tub.


On arrival there is gated parking for one car, and being on a prime site in Whitley Bay known as The Esplanade, everything is within a short walk, simply park up your car and let the holiday begin. Directly across from the apartment is the beautiful promenade stretching in both directions along this fabulous coastline with three beaches nearby and numerous restaurants, coffee shops and bars to stop off at along the way. The sandy beach is perfect for families to walk along, sit or explore the rock pools when the tide is out. For food and drink you’ll be spoilt for choice with a good standard and variety of restaurants within a short distance - Turkish, Indian, Italian, or fish restaurants are all nearby. Whitley Bay is well known for the Spanish City, completely renovated inside and out with a lovely champagne bar on the top floor maximising the views and a tea room for high teas. Outside is a friendly real ale bar, a popular stopping off place for locals out walking.
The coastline stretches along to Cullercoats, Tynemouth and the North Shields Fish Quay which is popular with locals with an abundance of eating places and trendy bars, cafés and bespoke shops.

Tynemouth is famed for surfing competitions and you often see surfers out on the waves. Whitley Bay has a lovely theatre only a few minutes’ walk away. There is also a large Waves Leisure Centre for the children. The local Metro station is nearby, linking you to Newcastle city centre. Lovely riverside walks take you to the Sage and Baltic music and contemporary art galleries. From the main railway station you can travel on to Edinburgh, Durham or York. A visit to the Northumberland Heritage Coast is a must, the road network is excellent and will take you onto Alnwick Castle and gardens, less than an hour’s drive away, or up towards Holy Island and Bamburgh. Head west over towards the historic Hadrians Wall or Kielder Water, set in the fantastic Northumberland National Park. Beach 100 yards. Shop 250 yards, pub 150 yards, restaurant 100 yards.
