This comfortable, detached lodge-style cabin is set on a quiet area of a friendly park within 180-acres of parkland. All on one level, this lodge is ideal for couples or a family to enjoy, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. You can enjoy the wildlife from a raised wrap-around style verandah as you sip your evening drink or enjoy a spot of breakfast.
The wildlife is abundant and with five duck ponds on-site, the ducks are often seen too. If you are lucky you may see a red squirrel or roe deer. If you want to simply relax and unwind, yet be close to all the tourist attractions, then Keith’s Kabin is ideal. French doors lead onto the verandah, surrounded by trees and only 50 yards from the on-site café, which has free Wi-Fi, and there’s also a launderette.
The 18-hole golf course on-site is free for visitors and set in mature woodlands. A children’s adventure playground is a few hundred yards from the cabin, along with a great area with picnic tables.
The location is just perfect for exploring, with Alnwick Castle only 8 miles away, famed for the Harry Potter scenes and still the home to the Duke of Northumberland. Keith’s Kabin is centrally located to visit this diverse county, with the Cheviot Hills 30 miles away and Chillingham Castle, reputedly one of the most haunted in England, just 21 miles away.
The Heritage Coast stretches for miles with golden beaches, and Bamburgh Castle and beach is only 25 miles away. It makes a super base for cyclists and walkers with easy access to the hills and coast. Northumberland borders Scotland, so a day trip via train from Alnmouth station is a must. Newcastle-Upon-Tyne is only a short train journey or 32 miles in the car, where you can experience some real Geordie dialogue and hospitality! Northumberland is reputedly the friendliest and most unspoilt county in England and visitors will be sure of a warm, friendly Northumbrian welcome staying in Keith’s Kabin. Beach 9 miles. Shop 3 miles, pub and restaurant 1½ miles.
