Living area: With electric fire, 42" Freeview TV, DVD player with a selection of DVD’s, and French doors leading to decked area.
Kitchen area: With breakfast area, gas cooker, microwave, American style fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer.
Bedroom 1: With double bed, 32" Freeview TV and en-suite with shower cubicle and toilet.
Bedroom 2: With twin beds and 32" Freeview TV.
Bathroom: With shower over bath, toilet and heated towel rail.
Oil central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen and towels included. Welcome pack. Hot tub for 4 (private). Enclosed decked area with garden furniture. 40-acre landscaped grounds with woodland (shared with other lodges on-site). Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: There is an unfenced lake in the grounds.
Patricia’s Lodge is set in a peaceful part of this friendly lodge park, with superb access to the A1 for exploring. The hot tub is set on the decked area to the back of the property is great for unwinding after a day out exploring.
The 40-acre park is home to a lovely lake with resident swans, great for a nice stroll before lunch. Also on-site is a café, bar and restaurant, meaning you can leave the car and simply meander over in the evening. The lodge has been lovingly decorated providing a homely feel, with a good DVD selection and a cosy pebble fire should you wish to stay in and relax after a long soak in the hot tub.
Alnwick Castle and gardens are easily reached, only a 20-minute drive away, where you can explore the castle and see where some of the ‘Harry Potter’ scenes were filmed. Within a 40-minute drive you can be walking along the stunning beach by Bamburgh Castle, one of the most photographed beaches in the county. Within walking distance is the small Northumberland Zoo at Eshott, which is a lovely day out for your children.
A day trip to the National Park is a must where you can visit Kielder Water, and the drive there is spectacular and the scenery beautiful. Northumberland was voted the ‘best place to holiday’ in the 2018 British Tourism awards, and you are always sure of a friendly Geordie welcome in and around this fabulous diverse county, with more castles than any other English county. Beach 10 miles. Shop 4 miles, pub and restaurant 350 yards.
