Perched on the Cumbria/Northumberland border, the traditional features and generously proportioned rooms make these ideal choices for families and friends looking for a comfortable and well-equipped Home from home.

There is a network of public footpaths direct from the doorstep, linking up to numerous trails and cycle routes. The archaeological remains of Whitley Castle (Roman fort), described as the ’hidden gem of the North Pennines’, is a stone’s throw from the property. Leadgate Holiday Cottages are perfectly situated as a touring base for exploring a wealth of natural and historical treasures in the area.
Hadrian’s Wall is only a short drive away, with the Scottish Border and the Lake District approximately 25 miles. Nearby Alston, 2 miles, the highest market town in England, offers an interesting array of cafés, shops, pubs, and 9-hole golf. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.
