You’ll find plenty of high street brands and in particular many outdoor shops selling the latest walking and hiking gear.
Here you are only half a mile from Lake Windermere where you can take a cruise on a traditional steamer to various destinations throughout the year. If you love the outdoors there are many walking, climbing and cycling routes nearby including many tourist attractions for all ages. To the South you’re just a 10-minute drive from Windermere and to the North, 10 minutes from Grasmere and about 20 minutes from Keswick.
