A beautifully presented holiday home ideally located for exploring Carlisle, the Lake District, Hadrian’s Wall country and beyond.

Adjoining the owner’s farmhouse, this beautifully presented holiday home is set on a family run sheep and dairy farm in the heart of the Cumbrian countryside, with excellent walks and cycle routes on your doorstep. Why not bring your horse as stables are available and there is easy access to miles of quiet country lanes and bridleways to explore. The cottage is ideally located for many attractions in and around the area - Hadrian’s Wall is on your doorstep and Birdoswald Roman Fort and Lanercost Priory are only 4 miles away. There are many small country pubs serving excellent food only a few miles by car. The central location means the Lake District, Scottish Borders and Eden Valley are all within a half hour drive. Shop and pub 3 miles, restaurant 5 miles.
