This wonderful cottage boasts a relaxing living room with a large fireplace with a wood burner, there is an open plan dining room with a well equipped kitchen area. Through the back door is a courtyard for outside seating and a bike store. Upstairs there are two double bedrooms and a modern bathroom.
The River Eea flows straight through Cark village and right in front of B’s Cottage. Cross over the quaint bridge for a 2-minute walk into the village centre where you have a choice of two local pubs with great food, a village shop and a hairdresser.
Although you can access all amenities on foot from the cottage, there is plenty to see and do in the area, definitely worth exploring. The priory village of Cartmel is only 2 miles down the road, famous for its horse racing weekends, hosted four times a year, and also for its sticky toffee pudding, this quirky village is definitely worth a visit. Cartmel also offers a wine bar, independent shops, local pubs and two Michelin star restaurants for you to enjoy, so make sure you book!
If you want to discover more of the Lake District then just a 10-minute drive down the road you are in Newby Bridge, home to the Lakes Aquarium, Windermere Lake Cruises and the Haverthwaite steam train.
