DUNROMIN COTTAGE
2 bedrooms, sleeps 4

This holiday property is a great base for discovering the Ribble Valley, Trough of Bowland, Lake District, Blackpool and Manchester.

This former weavers cottage dates back more than 200 years, and it now offers comfortable and welcoming holiday accommodation in the heart of Lancashire. Located in the village of Belthorn, the cottage is well placed for exploring all that the north west has to offer, including the Ribble Valley, Trough of Bowland, Lake District, Yorkshire Dales, Manchester, Blackpool and the Fylde Coast. The village of Belthorn is one of the highest villages in Lancashire and, thanks to its elevated position, the cottage enjoys lovely views from its enclosed rear garden, which extends over the moors towards the Ribble Estuary with the Fylde Coast to the west, and Pendle Hill to the east.

Thanks to its proximity to the motorway network, Manchester, Blackpool and the Ribble Valley can all be reached in 40 minutes and the Forest of Bowland, Yorkshire Dales and Lake District can be reached in an hour.

Other places of interest nearby include the Helmshore Textile Museum, 5 miles, Townley Hall, 14 miles and Pendle Hill, 17 miles. For those who want to leave their car behind, the village offers bus services into Blackburn, Haslingden and Rawtenstall. The nearest train station is in Blackburn, 3 miles away. Shop 1 mile, pub and restaurant ½ mile
