Situated in the picturesque village of Ullock, which is located on the fringe of the Lake District National Park between Cockermouth and Ennerdale, making a great location for your next Cumbrian getaway. It offers easy access to explore the western Lake District and coast and has a couple of pubs and restaurants nearby. Your nearest lake is Loweswater which is just 3 miles away. Loweswater is surrounded by stunning scenery, amazing fells, walking and cycling routes as well as easy access to arguably some of the most picturesque areas of the Lake District National Park, including Crummock and Buttermere.


Whether you’re looking for rugged adventure or just a peaceful walk taking in the flora and fauna, you have a beautiful area to explore. You’re just 5 miles from Cockermouth with an abundance of speciality shops, coffee houses, restaurants and attractions. Visit Wordsworth House for a spot of culture, or maybe Jennings Brewery beneath the castle walls, offering tasting tours. Kirkgate Arts provides a cinema and theatre performances.
