Cockermouth is very popular with both tourists and locals alike. The property is located just 500 yards from the birthplace of William Wordsworth and the National Trust Wordsworth House. Cross the river to visit the memorial gardens, or enjoy a swim at the local leisure pool. Cycle hire is also available locally. Nestled beneath the castle walls, enjoy a tour around the famous Jennings Brewery, or if you like culture, arts and drama, why not check out what performances are available during your stay at Kirkgate Arts?
