Steeple View is all on one level with an open plan living space providing a social space, great for spending quality time with loved ones. Featuring a flatscreen TV and patio doors leading to the enclosed rear garden, it benefits from plenty of natural daylight. The master bedroom features a kingsize bed and an en-suite shower room, while the twin room shares a modern family bathroom with shower over the bath.

Cockermouth has a great selection of fantastic pubs serving locally produced cask ales and fine food and an abundance of independent shops.

The town centre and all it has to offer is just ½ mile away. Leave the car behind and explore on foot. Enjoy great walks along the river which prove very popular with tourists and locals. You can visit Wordsworth House, ½ mile, the birthplace of William Wordsworth, then feed the ducks in the memorial gardens. Within ½ mile you’ll reach Kirkgate Arts if you fancy taking in some performing arts on your holiday. Nestled beneath the castle walls you’ll find the famous Jennings Brewery tour offering tastings and bottled beers to take away.

Surrounded on three sides by the Lake District National Park means you get the best of both worlds. Choose between the mountainous scenery of the Lakes, or the sandy beaches of the West Cumbrian coastline.

A short car journey means you can reach Bassenthwaite Lake in 5 miles, a picturesque lake with a stunning backdrop of the iconic Skiddaw, one of the highest mountains in England, offering fantastic walking and cycle routes as well as an osprey viewpoint. Bassenthwaite is also home to The Lake District Wildlife Park, 6 miles, offering a fun day out, as well as The Lakes Distillery, with good food and tasting tours. The popular town of Keswick is 14 miles away and can be reached by car in about 20 minutes. For walkers and cycling enthusiasts, you’ll love Whinlatter Forest Park or continue down the valley to Buttermere for stunning panoramic scenery. Beach 10 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant ¼ mile.
