On the ground floor you’ll find three bedrooms with comfortable beds and some hanging/storage space for your belongings. The master bedroom offers a double bed with an en-suite shower room, the second bedroom is a double, whilst the third has a small double (4ft wide).

It can comfortably sleep up to six guests. The main family bathroom offers a bath with shower over. The first floor is all open plan with living room, kitchen and dining table. Outside you’ll find a patio with garden furniture, perfect for some fresh air, soaking up the sun with a morning coffee or an afternoon glass of wine.
Nearby in the Village of Holmrook, the river meanders through the village centre providing a picturesque backdrop where you’ll find a pub, shop, post office and garage. The village offers a delightful setting with lovely riverside walks. You are also only 2 miles away from the sand dunes at Drigg Beach and 3 miles from Gosforth.

There’s plenty to do nearby including La’al Ratty, a miniature passenger railway that follows the old mining rail track on the Ravenglass to Eskdale Railway. Muncaster castle with stunning gardens, activities and open days. Plus, you are just a short drive from Wasdale Head offering the shortest route up the highest mountain in England, Scafell Pike.
