Located in a quiet part of the historical market town of Kendal, just at the start of Kirkland, the main road through the town centre. This property is just next to the Parish Church and an old English pub.
Sleeping two people, this one bedroom flat which is located over the store of a local sports shop provides a fantastic base to enjoy the delights of Kendal and The Lake District National Park. Kirkland Bells offers a welcoming environment with an open plan living space It’s very well equipped with everything you’ll need for a relaxed and memorable stay. The flat is tastefully furnished with some nice features including exposed stone walls and modern décor throughout, perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine after a day of shopping and sightseeing.

You’ll find plenty of storage for your belongings and a nice shower room. Various public car parks are available locally and offer good value for longer stays. Once you arrive you can leave the car behind to make the most of your prime location.
The flat is located on the south side of town and in just a 5-minute walk, you will hit the vibrant town centre with the nearest pub only 100 yards away and another 200 yards away offering a selection of beers and craft ales and great food. Kendal has an abundance of well-known high street brands mixed with a number of independent retailers, coffee shops, cafés, delis, bars and restaurants. With a weekly outdoor market selling anything from local crafts to clothing as well as a permanent indoor market open daily, you’ll find plenty on your doorstep to fill your days. Kendal museum dating back to 1796 and the castle are only a 10-minute walk from the flat, and Abbott Hall is ideal for Art lovers just 5 minutes away on foot.

Kendal is known as ’The Gateway to the Lakes’, and in just 15 minutes by car, you’ll reach Windermere, Bowness-on Windermere and in 20 minutes, Ambleside. These popular tourist hotspots are ideal for a day out to shop, eat, drink and make the most of the natural beauty that Lake Windermere offers. You can also reach Windermere by train if you wish with Kendal railway station being only 15 minutes walk away. There is also a regular bus service to Windermere, Ambleside and Keswick, from the bus stop that is just a few minutes walk away. If you like cycling, hiking or just a pleasant walk then this part of the world will be right up your street with any number of beautiful routes available for all ages and abilities. Beach 11 miles.
