This attractive semi-detached bungalow commands a prime position close to Keswick town centre. Thanks to its elevated position, guests will enjoy fabulous views to the surrounding fells and benefit from private off road parking for two cars. As Lingmoor is just 700 yards from the town centre, you can leave the car behind and easily walk into Keswick. A lot of thought and care has gone into providing an excellent guest experience. Sleeping up to four guests in two well-presented bedrooms, Lingmoor is ideal for couples and families. Guests will benefit from good quality beds and mattresses with guest comfort high on the list of priorities. The master offers the flexibility of either a super kingsize bed, or if you prefer, the beds can be changed to two single beds. The second bedroom offers a kingsize bed and plenty of storage. The contemporary kitchen offers a good range of appliances, quality equipment and access to the conservatory offering great views of the fells.
The bathroom features a shower over bath, heated towel rail and quality fixtures and fittings. You’ll also find a bright dining room with windows on three sides to make the most of the views, and a spacious living room with gas fire and stylish furnishings.
If you like outdoor adventure including climbing, walking and cycling, you are surrounded by some amazing scenery and routes around Latrigg and Catbells. Lingmoor has a large garage which is ideal for storing bikes or water sports equipment. Nearby you’ll find Skiddaw, Blencathra and Helvellyn to name a few. There’s some great walks directly from the property and if you’re looking for an easy but rewarding walk, why not try Castlerigg Stone Circle, great to walk the dog and kids will love it too. Keswick is a vibrant town with a great outdoor market and plenty of places to eat and drink, with delis, bakeries, coffee shops and local craft stalls.
Its bustling centre also has an abundance of quality restaurants, pubs serving local cask ales, independent shops and the obligatory outdoor and fashion brands. If you like culture check out the Theatre By The Lake, 1 mile, with award-winning arts and drama on the banks of Derwentwater where you can hire a rowing boat or even take a dip. For family fun why not try Puzzling Place, ¾ mile, a mind boggling attraction based on optical illusions, or the Derwent Pencil Museum, home to the largest pencil in the world, ¾ mile. For a really wild day out, try the Lake District Wildlife Park at Bassenthwaite, 8½ miles, or The Lakes Distillery offering daily tasting and tours, also 8½ miles.
