The beautiful village of Portinscale is home to Derwent Water Marina, just a 5 minute walk from the apartment, and offers sailing, kayaking and tuition courses as part of their activity list. For walkers, the area is surrounded by many well known and favourite fells including Skiddaw, Cat Bells and the Borrowdale valley. Beach 24 miles. Shop 1¾ miles, pub and restaurant ½ mile.
