Extra Amenities

Kings Terrace is a spacious house in the village of Brough, in the Eden Valley of Cumbria. With 3 good sized bedrooms upstairs along with the family bathroom, downstairs is a very large living room, open plan kitchen/dining area and separate downstairs toilet. The property also benefits from a large enclosed rear garden with seating and car parking as well as lockable bike storage. The house is surrounded by excellent walking and cycling routes, with historic castles, pony trekking, fishing and golf in the area.

The location of the property is ideal; it’s just a short, scenic drive from both the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales National Parks and the North Pennines Area Of Outstanding Beauty. Ideally placed for exploring the delights of both National Parks, visitors can explore Ullswater and the Eastern Lakes, Swaledale, Wensleydale and the lesser-known Teasdale, along with the popular towns of Keswick, Kendal, Barnard Castle and Hawes, all within a 40-minute drive from the property.

Be sure to visit the famous Settle-Carlisle Railway nearby for journeys without the car. Brough has a fish and chip shop, along with a shop, pubs and restaurant within 200 yards. The traditional market town of Kirkby Stephen is four miles away and has an excellent selection of local shops, pubs and restaurants
