Stanley House Farmhouse is home to these two wonderful holiday apartments, set within the lovely grounds of the owner’s B&B, it is a perfect base from which to explore the surrounding areas.
Ivy Cottage (UK31316) is set all on the ground floor while The Studio (UK31317) occupies the first floor. Each apartment features an open plan living space, combining a well-equipped kitchen area, dining area and living area. Ivy Cottage has a small sitting-out area with garden furniture outside, the ideal place for some al-fresco dining.
Both properties offer comfortable accommodation for a couple with a double bedroom and separate shower room with a powerful shower and modern fittings. Each bedroom also features a sofa bed, ideal for flexible sleeping arrangements.
The location is calm, peaceful and private yet within easy reach of Lancaster, Garstang, Morecambe and surrounding areas. The properties are situated just 5 minutes off the motorway junction, making it a perfect base to explore the North West of England.
Here you are within 10 minutes’ drive from Lancaster University. The south Lake District can be reached in 30 minutes, where you can explore any of the 214 Wainwright walks. Nearer to the area is the old market town of Garstang with its independent shops, pubs and a weekly market, held on a Thursday. Beach 7 miles. Shop and pub 3 miles, restaurant 2 miles. These properties can be booked together to accommodate up to 4 guests.
