This bijou, mid-terraced cottage boasts an ideal location within walking distance of all the great shops, sophisticated wine bars and restaurants that Lytham has to offer. It will definitely appeal to couples and friends wanting a comfortable retreat which takes advantage of this cosmopolitan town. Lytham Green and Lytham Hall (a Grade I listed country house surrounded by parkland) are just a short 5-minute walk from Old School Cottage. Lytham St Annes, with its popular beach huts, also hosts an annual kite festival which is held on the beach itself.

Within a mile is the Royal Lytham & St Annes Golf Club, and neighbouring Ansdell is also worth a visit, where you will find Fairhaven Lake with boat hire, tennis and bowling. Lytham itself hosts many annual events including the ever popular Lytham Proms, held in July, and the Lytham 1940s Wartime Weekend held in August. The area is also popular with birdwatchers and wildlife enthusiasts, who come to visit the nearby reeds and marshes of the Ribble Estuary.

Only 5 miles away, you can enjoy a day out at the popular seaside resort of Blackpool with its famous Blackpool Tower, zoo, Pleasure Beach and Sandcastle Water Park.
