Bathroom: With shower over bath, and toilet.

Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial fuel for multi-fuel burner included. Welcome pack. Large lawned garden with raised decked area and garden furniture. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking. Please note: There are 8 steps from the decking to the lawn and an unfenced stream in the garden.

Corner House is set in the pretty fellside village of Skirwith in the picturesque Eden Valley. This semi-detached cottage is full of character and charm, and the garden and views are just as special. It has two lovely bedrooms, the master having double aspect windows making the most of the views. Downstairs the living room is charming with a cosy multi-fuel burner and sandstone flagged flooring. From the kitchen, which is adjacent to the living room, step out onto the raised decking which overlooks the garden with the Skirwith stream running through it.

The Eden Valley is a hidden gem for you to explore. From Langwathby, which is just 2 miles from Corner House, join the Settle to Carlisle Railway, one of the most scenic and impressive railways in the UK and sit back, relax and enjoy the scenery of the North Pennines, Eden Valley and the Yorkshire Dales. Skirwith is situated just off the A686 running between Penrith, Alston and Hexham and is claimed to be one of the ten most scenic roads in the world, so without doubt worth a drive.

Enjoy the quiet of Eden Valley, yet you can be in the Lake District National Park within half an hour or so to enjoy the majestic fells and lakes. Scotland can also be reached within half an hour or so, so there is plenty to keep you occupied! Shop, pub and restaurant 2 mile
