This wonderful apartment is linked with the adjoining estate of Blaithwaite House, which offers a wealth of activities, made available by the owners (at cost). These include clay pigeon shooting, archery, laser tag, mountainboarding, mini golf, climbing, relaxing guided walks and craft workshops. The woodland is made up of rare specialist trees and fascinating wetlands which you can explore for hours in peace.

Should you wish to explore further afield, the popular Lake District market town of Keswick is just a short drive away, or historic Carlisle with its Roman history and castle to see. Head to the coast, where the Solway Estuary has an abundance of wildlife and is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Beach 9 miles. Shop and pub 4½ miles, restaurant 2¾ miles.
