They’re perfect if you want to be in the heart of the action with a fantastic base from which to explore the St Bees Heritage Coastline, Whitehaven and the Western Lake District Fells.
Each apartment of these studio apartments is modern and comfortable, equipped with everything you’ll need for a great stay in this popular seaside town. You’ll love the convenient layout, with large windows offering plenty of natural daylight and creating a bright and airy space. There is a small but well-equipped kitchen if you want to cook, but with an abundance of great restaurants, gastro pubs, harbourside wine bars and takeaways within a couple of minutes’ walk, the last thing you’ll want to do is wash the dishes!
Whitehaven has a wide range of great restaurants, bars, coffee shops, eateries, a selection of independent shops as well as the usual high street brands.
Whitehaven’s harbour is home to The Beacon Museum with interactive displays. You can tour The Rum Story attraction and find out all about the history of The Jefferson family from the original 1785 shop. The town also has an indoor public swimming pool, gym, sports centre and golf course. A visit wouldn’t be complete without going to St Bees Head and the long sandy beaches.
The Lake District National Park is a 5-mile drive away, where you have an abundance of walks, cycle routes, wildlife, mountains and lakes. Ennerdale is 6 miles away and is widely regarded as one of the most unspoilt areas of the Lake District, teeming with wildlife including indigenous red squirrels, osprey and buzzards. The scenery around this unspoilt part of The Lakes is stunning and the panoramic views are a sight to behold. Whether you want an easy stroll, a challenging walk or a serious climb, you’ve got a great base to start your adventures. Beach 4½ miles. Shop 50 yards, pub and restaurant 200 yards.
