For golfers, Keswick Golf Club is just 1 mile away, or head towards Keswick and you will reach Castlerigg Stone Circle, an interesting short walk suitable for all levels of experience. The popular market town of Keswick has an abundance of bars, shopping experiences, restaurants and tourist attractions, including the Derwent Pencil Museum, home to the largest pencil in the world. The Theatre by the Lake, offering award winning arts and drama, and Puzzling Place, with a selection of mind boggling optical illusions, are just 5 miles away.
