River Court is ideally located just a 2-minute walk from the picturesque historic cobbled streets leading down to the quay and harbour, with plenty of boutiques, pubs, inns, shops , fisheries, tea rooms, ice cream parlours and restaurants. This tastefully presented second floor studio apartment offers a great base for exploring this ever popular sailing town. Whether you are arriving by car or train, River Court is easily accessable. It is a contemporary bijou space, perfect for a couple, and there is also a sofa bed in the open plan living area suitable for a small child. From here you can catch a glimpse of the quay over the rooftops.
Ten minutes walk takes you past the seawater baths and out on the saltmarshes. Why not hop on a ferry to the Isle of Wight which is less than 15 minutes away.
Lymington is a grand town and renowned for its nautical links. The New Forest is ever popular all year round with its heathland with wandering ponies and cattle and is suitable for all age groups. There are miles of beautiful walks to experience, or alternatively the surrounding area can be explored by car or on a bicycle via the many cycle paths and discover some of the appealing villages, towns, attractions and gardens such as Lyndhurst, Beaulieu Motor Museum, Exbury Gardens and the riverside village of Bucklers Hard.
Further afield but well worth a trip is Monkey World, the Tank Museum near Wool, Marwell Zoo,Highcliffe Castle, Bovington Tank Museum, New Forest Wildlife Park and nautical maritime history at Southampton, with retail shopping outlets. The coastline with its beaches at Bournemouth, Sandbanks and Poole is within a short drive with golden beaches and has many popular activities such as windsurfing, boating and swimming. Beach 3 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 300 yards.
